To serve the needy asthmatics in different parts of the world, IAS has offered Free medications, educational materials as well as conducted public awareness talks through media (TV, Newspapers, books, and pamphlets). All of these efforts are to increase the level of awareness of these common ailments.
The latest move has been the formation of the Allergy-Asthma Network of India (AANI) (www.aani.in), a huge network of nearly 250 physicians who have all been trained by IAS at CMC, Vellore. These trained physicians carry the ideals of IAS and put them into practice in their communities. |
